Rehabilitation Technology
Rehabilitation and assistive technology is any product, piece of equipment or medical device used to improve the daily lives of people with disabilities. It can be used to make performing certain tasks easier or accomplish things that otherwise might not have been possible. The use of this technology can improve independence, promote participation in community life and enhance quality-of-life.
Robotics, virtual reality, and computer modelling and simulations (or games!) are some examples of rehabilitation and assistive technologies.
